Ethos

As a socially conscious and strength-based clinician, I believe clinical work is best when approached collaboratively to better understand personal experience from within cultural context. I also believe we each hold strength and wisdom within ourselves to find our way through difficult and even traumatic experiences. Through the healing power of relationship, we are empowered to heal and grow. Therapy can be a wonderful place to work towards the kind of deeper self understanding that translates into greater fulfillment in interpersonal relationships, hobbies, career and perhaps most importantly - the relationship we have with ourselves.

Clinical Approach

Coming from an eclectic orientation, I approach my work with a psychodynamic and relational frame, and work together with clients to tailor culturally relevant therapy that addresses each client’s needs. I incorporate elements of DBT, AEDP and family systems therapies, as well as mindfulness and attention to the mind-body connection.

  • Talk Therapy: one-on-one individual therapy sessions (45 - 50 minutes)

  • Relationship and Family Therapy: Couples, Family and Relationship therapy (60 - 90 minutes)

  • Group Therapy: Process Groups available once in-person services resume (60 - 90 minutes)
